  • Something like:

    • Welcome to Spirit Guided Friends Church. 

    • My name is <name>. 

    • Thank you for coming.

 

• Introduce the Opening Song

  • Chair announces the number of the song 

  • Allows people enough time to find it in the hymnal

 

• Invocation

  • Chair requests pre-arranged person to deliver the invocation.

  • The person giving the Invocation stands and delivers it

    • The standing person or the Chair then will ask everyone to stand and recite the Lord’s Prayer (“The Our Father”) in unison.

  • Chair asks people to be seated

 

• Second Song : See “Opening Song”

 

• Speaker delivers scripture and lecture

 

• Third Song : See “Opening Song”

 

• Announcements

  • Identifies current month's bulletin and other bulletins, as available

    • Something like: 

      • The January and February bulletins are available near the entryway.

  • Read from the current month’s bulletin

  • Identifies any key events (Open House, Classes, etc.)

  • Reminds people about the Prayer Chain & Ministerial Services

  • Reminds people about the church’s web site

  • Talks about the Prayer Box and the Communication Box

  • Any other relevant information

  • May ask attendees if they have any announcements
